Not pop.

I get the impression that it's kind of jazz/jam.

Brilliant!

Thank to this song, I can now crawl up my bedroom wall.

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Haha, thanks! Stay tuned for the full version ;)

Some more advice.

Put some effects on a few of the percussion instruments. It will take away a bit of that stiff feeling you get at the beginning. The intro really throws you off to what's coming. At first I thought you were a total noob, but it got way better.

culmor30 responds:

Yeah, glad you listened through though. Most people on newgrounds vote 0 if they don't like the first 10 seconds :[

I'm going to add some reverb and stuff to fix the intro and outro, will re-up in a sec.

Excellent!

This makes me want to give the love philter a second chance.

No.

This is actually a pretty cool sounding song which has similarities to "Still More FIghting", but it is in almost no way the same song as or a remake of "Still More Fighting." The mixing and instrumentation need a lot of work too.

Unoriginal.

This is just a midi rip. I'll give you a 1, because I just taught someone how to use FL for the first time and he can do exactly what you did to make this song. I'm not hating, I just don't think such little work should be given such high scores.

Auron59 responds:

Looks like you don't read peoples descriptions before voting, I don't make "Remixes", I "remake" them to modern mp3 sound (Ever heard of a "band cover"?), you want a remix? check Glaciercap!
I listen to them since I don't have the original tracks, just the game, I just learned to do that "MIDI" thing, I installed the program yesterday and my friend (Not an FL user) taught me, I didn't know that MIDIs had note track, I asked about this because apparently, You and "Heresaspoon" had made the same comments, even one user had to explain me what a MIDI was (Check my Jenova's comments).
I understand you made one FF7 StMoFi too, THAT is what you call a "Remix"
I'm not mad at you, I give my praises to your remix, it's quite good, but... I'll just leave a comment this response is getting quite long.
Nobouo is a great composer and I'm not going to ruin it, I'd rather leave the track as he did.

Funky.

Slow and bouncy isn't really my style, but I did like the drum fills. The riff at :52 was really nice too; it reminded me of some of the old Sailor Moon video games.

Keep going strong!

You're not bad, but you have plenty of room for improvement. My suggestion would be to keep using the software. The more you do, the more you'll discover and the better your songs will sound.

Kreepman responds:

Yeah, I just recently got this program so I'll defiantly keep using it!

Retro

The first ten seconds of this song were pointless. Up until 0:40 it sounded like you were going to do an old school acid house tune (which would be neat.) It was pretty cool the rest of the way through. Just work on the transitions and lengthen the better parts. Then you'll have a quality piece of music on your hands. It probably wouldn't hurt to turn up the kick drum a tad.

Neato!

It's a pretty decent piece of music. I would have classified it as ambient, since it's very downtempo and there's lots of reverb.
